At 650 Fifth Avenue, the health and safety of our community is our top priority. In accordance with the
CDC, we are enforcing all guidelines that have helped make NYC’s reopening safe and successful. As an office
environment with shared spaces, we are taking safety measures by implementing capacity protocols, personal
space and PPE requirements, and the use of signage and protective shields. We are committed to keeping our
workplace clean and hygienic by requiring all tenants, employees, and visitors to fully abide by our
guidelines. The well-being of our entire community depends on every individual doing their part. With these
practices in place, we are fully dedicated to helping our tenants continue to run their businesses safely.

650 Fifth Guidelines for a Safe and Healthy Workplace
SOCIAL DISTANCING
- Tenant traffic flow: Revolving doors will be used for entry and swing doors will be used for exit.
- Signage and directional arrows on stanchions have been installed to guide traffic flow, ensure
distancing and encourage good hygiene.
- Guards have been stationed in the lobby to direct traffic as well as enforce PPE and social distancing
requirements.
- Two (2) security guards have been added to building staff to ensure compliance.
- In compliance with the NYS mandate, no one will be allowed access to the building without a face
covering. All tenants and visitors must wear face coverings at all times.
- Touchless hand sanitizer stations are located at each lobby elevator bank.
- A shield particulate guard has been installed at the lobby security station.
- As a precaution, extra face coverings are kept at the lobby security station in the event someone
enters the building without one.
- Tenants who have lost or forgotten their ID are required to wait outside and contact their tenant
representative to be registered as a visitor.
ELEVATORS
- One guard is stationed at each elevator bank in the lobby to push the elevator buttons and ensure only
four (4) persons are entering/exiting each elevator.
- Floor decals have been installed in each elevator cab indicating where passengers are to stand to
adhere to social distancing.
- Dispatchers have been set to "home" at the lobby in order to efficiently expedite occupants from the
lobby to their floors.
VISITORS
- Guards are stationed at the sidewalk line desks for visitor check-in.
- Prior to their visitor's arrival at the building, tenants are required to register all visitors in the
visitor registration system and upload a photo of their visitor via Workspeed. All visitor passes will
be pre-printed and ready for matching with the visitor upon arrival.
- Visitors that have not been registered must wait outside and contact their tenant representative.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Tenants are strongly encouraged to limit or restrict visitors, especially within the initial phase of
re-occupancy.
- Tenants are encouraged to limit food deliveries during the initial re-occupancy phase to minimize
unnecessary traffic.
- Tenants are advised to create staggered employee start and departure times to control lobby
overcrowding and optimize elevator wait times.
- Couriers should complete the receipt information on their own, minimizing the exchange of devices.
ENHANCED SAFETY AND HEALTH PROCEDURES
- Restrooms will be stocked with antibacterial hand soap and automatically dispensed hand towels.
- Day porters are performing daily periodic sanitizing of high touch areas including:
- Lobby revolving and swing doors
- Passenger elevator call buttons
- Common areas and restrooms on occupied floors
- Doorknobs/handles/panic bars on multi-floor tenant common areas
- Building Management office including keyboards/mouse, printers/copiers, desks, and pantry
- Staff break rooms including pantry and changing areas
- Lobby elevator call buttons, lobby security desk and loading dock elevator access area
- Electrostatic spraying is required for possible contaminated areas and high touch multi-floor tenant
common areas.
- Building Management has thermometers onsite.
- Building Staff is prohibited from utilizing passenger elevators and is to utilize freight cars.
- Construction workers should all be on-site prior to tenant employees (prior to 8am).
- Workers are to clean hands prior to entering building and exiting construction site.
BUILDING MAINTENANCE
- Existing HVAC air distribution filters were changed during the month of May. The dual filter system is
comprised of MERV 14 and MERV 8 ratings. Next scheduled filter change is August 2020.
- Cooling towers were cleaned, and maintenance and testing were completed in April 2020. All results
were within safe limits.
- All safety equipment including fire sprinkler systems, eye wash stations, and safety showers are
cleaned and well-maintained.
